PFC removes barriers that prevent businesses from obtaining traditional financing by providing flexible lending solutions, individualized financial guidance, and responsible underwriting practices.

Our Impact

By increasing access to capital and financial tools, PFC helps entrepreneurs in underserved communities build stronger businesses that reinvest in the neighborhoods they serve.

Our Loan Programs

Loans ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 designed to help small businesses start or grow their operations.

Funds can be used for working capital, equipment purchases, inventory, or other business needs, with flexible collateral requirements and loan counseling available to support borrowers throughout the financing process.

Loans from $50,000 to $500,000 designed to support business expansion, stabilize cash flow, purchase equipment, or fund other operational needs.

These loans provide flexible financing to help businesses strengthen and scale their operations.

Flexible access to working capital through a revolving credit facility.

New clients may qualify for lines of credit up to $50,000, while existing clients may access up to $500,000, allowing businesses to draw and repay funds as needed to manage cash flow and ongoing expenses.

Loans from $100,000 to $350,000 designed to help small businesses fulfill awarded contracts.

Financing can be used to cover upfront project costs such as labor, materials, and operational expenses while awaiting payment from contract issuers.

PFC is committed to supporting local businesses by providing emergency and disaster-related financing in times of crisis.

In the past, this has included relief programs developed in response to events such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2025 Southern California wildfires.

While there are no active disaster or emergency loan programs at this time, new relief programs may be launched as circumstances arise. Please check our website for updates on available assistance.

Client Success Story: Be Bright Coffee

Be Bright Coffee launched in 2020 as an online specialty coffee retailer. After building a loyal following through local markets and events such as Smorgasburg LA, the business opened its first brick-and-mortar café on Melrose Avenue in 2022 with support from PFC through a microloan and financial guidance.

As demand continued to grow, Be Bright Coffee partnered with PFC again in 2025 to establish a new headquarters in Los Angeles Chinatown, featuring a second café and in-house roasting facility. That same period marked another milestone for the company when Frank won the 2024 U.S. Barista Championship, earning national recognition for his craft.

Today, Be Bright Coffee is preparing to open its third location in Koreatown. The company’s growth reflects how access to capital and business support can help entrepreneurs turn a vision into a thriving business that invests in the local community.
