The College Grant Individual Development Account (IDA) program is open to Juniors and Seniors currently attending one of three participating high schools in the El Monte Union School District: Arroyo High School, Mountain View High School, and El Monte High School.  The College Grant IDA is a great way to teach youth about the power of saving and educate them about the dangers of credit and how to be responsible with their finances.

The matching IDA fund is solely for post-secondary education expenses only. Qualifying educational expenses include:

  • Tuition Fees
  • School Fees
  • Books
  • Computer and/or printer
  • Course related lab tools, equipment and supplies

To receive the $3,000 grant, participating students MUST:

  • Attend a 1 hour orientation
