For the past 35 years, Johnson has worked in the employment and training sector assisting customers with job training, placement and counseling for career path development.  With over 3 decades of experience managing a variety of federally funded workforce investment programs with successful performance outcomes, he has a thorough understanding of Federal workforce development legislation.    As Director of PACE’s WorkSource Center, Johnson oversees the regional implementation of President Obama’s 2014 Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). A native of Hong Kong, Johnson immigrated to the US in 1968 and holds a BA in Psychology from U.C. Santa Barbara.
