Energy & Environmental Services

Providing energy conservation products and services at no cost to thousands of low-income families.

Low-income communities face ever-increasing obstacles in these difficult economic times. Among the many financial challenges families face is the high cost of energy. With much of the household budget increasingly consumed by the basic necessities of life, very little is often left to build the dream of a more prosperous future. Since 1981, PACE has partnered with Southern California Gas Company and Southern California Edison to directly address this issue.

Sustainability and protecting the environment continue to remain at the forefront of PACE’s agenda.  PACE’s Energy & Environmental Services (EES) division, in collaboration with its community partners – the State of California Department of Community Services and Development, Southern California Gas Company, Southern California Edison and Los Angeles Department of Water and Power – provides outreach, energy and environmental conservation education, weatherization services and assistance with utility bill payments to low-income individuals and families throughout the Greater Los Angeles area.  Our work is about more than just keeping the lights on; it’s about ensuring a safe, comfortable and habitable home for each client.
